We're here

Well, we are here in Colorado Springs and have moved into our new home. We have had a chance to go out and enjoy the sights and sounds and are really enjoying ourselves. Chris started work immediately and I will be soon. Last weekend we went to Manitou Springs, my new favorite spot to hang out, Zoie really enjoyed the outdoor arcade and rides. There are a lot of artists and galleries there. We met one real nice lady who carves wood, she gets cedar from the mountains around here and carves many fun things out of them we purchased one piece from her and put it in our living room. She gave Chris a quick lesson and some interesting pieces of cedar for him to try out. Zoie loves visiting her grandma Stringfellow at the toy store downtown, she knows exactly where to go now. We take walks from our house to downtown and she makes sure to say hi to everyone we pass, even the cable guy loved her. Chris and I were quick on meeting some new friends and he will be having an art show in October. Zoie's new thing is singing "Twinkle, Twinkle little star" She has the prettiest voice and she can carry a tune a lot better than me that's for sure, she is so fun. She is also counting now, though it's "1-2-1-2-1-2-3" she's starting to get the picture. I'll be sure to keep you all posted on the happenings in our lives.
